We teach singing in the classical style. We believe first and foremost in developing a healthy vocal production in conjunction with muscial expression of the vocal line. We adopt the teaching philosophies of Oren L. Brown (Julliard School), and his highly sought-after student Cindy Dewey, DMA, who was our teacher at Utah State University.

We use the work of Ingo Titze, Richard Miller, and Eloise Ristad in incorporating the study of accoustics, vocal science, and self-help study into our instruction. We believe that the study of singing is artistic, scientific, analytical, wholistic, spiritual, and therapeutic. The human voice needs to be freed and directed, not manipulated and affected.
