Software. I recommend using professional grade software Finale or Sibelius. Sibelius is cheaper, and it is considered to be the most widely used professional notation software. I personally use Finale because I've used it all my life and I know it better. There is also a cheaper version of finale called Finale Print Music (up to 24 staves). Finale also has a free version called Finale Notepad which can handle up to 8 Staves. There is also a free notation software called Musescore, which will be suitable for many people.
